Family owned riding stables with full livery, schooling and tuition, based in the Greet, Gloucestershire. We have large airy stables with ample bedding to create a healthy and comfortable environment for the horses. Turnout is available all year round. We only turnout horses in pairs to try and avoid any kicking and other accidents. We have a cross-country course, showjump paddock and 2 outdoor ménages; 20m x 40m sand & pvc school and 65m x 35m soft track (rubber & sand). The use of these facilities are included free of charge with livery.

We are a well-established, BHS approved Equestrian Centre offering riding lessons and a first class livery serivce.

We offer only working livery at Barguse and have only limited spaces available. The cost for working livery varies from £25 to £30 per week depending on the size & appetite of your horse! Any horse hoping to join us would need to be suitable for providing riding lessons to our clients. Thinking of coming on holiday to Cornwall but do not want to leave your horse at home? Barleyfields is a purpose built riding school and livery yard which was built in 1994. We are British Horse Society approved and are also recommended by them as a “Where to Train” centre.
